A Late Birthday Party / MAY 26, 2063 Night

[ After a short "vacation" at Tokyo, Brianna sends a text to her friends. It's a general invitation that stretches from her blade mates to her mentors, to well, the whole of Netsach (as long as she knows them. Also extends to some Zangyaku friends). Of course, she asks her parents for permission first. ]

Hello friend! It would make me very happy if you could make it to Haven this Saturday to celebrate my 520th birthday. Drinks on me. :)

[He grins when he gets the reply. He liked Brianna well enough, felt a little protective even if technically speaking, she's older than he is. He's actually not doing anything at the moment and is lounging about his safehouse, making a mental note to take his Blade here at some point.]

[ She's already slipped on something comfy but cute, kissed her parents goodbye and started up her car. ]

[ So there's one Yulia Bostova, standing around by the bar at Haven. She could be seen looking at her Vice phone every now and then (where the fuck are you, Josh?!), frowning with a glass of vodka (or whatever alcoholic drink that she could get her hands on, anyway). She's seated at the bar, back to the dance floor, and generally looking like she wants to bail.

By now, she's turned down five strangers who'd come by offering her drinks and asking for her number. To be fair, the skirt was short and the sheer tights didn't really do much to hide her legs. She's been told they were very nice legs. More than once. By different people.

It's probably a good thing she hasn't thrown a knife at someone yet. ]

[Well, it looks like he's gonna hang with Brianna, so he grabs a nice pair of shorts and changes. It's not that cold, but not that warm either, so he just switches to a dark blue tank and topsiders before he grabbing an elevator down.]

[ Aaand have one Brianna, ever the host walk up to Yulia and squeal in delight.

And then ogle at her for a bit because WOW. Tala did good. ]

Yulia! So glad you can make it. And can I just say, you look incredible.

[ Omg Kaz is so cool, he has his own place! Not that she wants to move out or anything, but independence is such a big thing for their age. She assumes Kaz would know that well, but not for the real reason.

She's driving up the parking space, parks her car and before walking to the entrance, texts Kaz. ]

That'll be next to impossible to tell, though, because this Blade King is being as disarming and as charming as usual. Also bullying wheedling people to drink more.

Whenever she isn't on, she's hanging close to the turntables, tripping out on Rethe's music, enjoying her drinks and chatting up whoever comes around.]

[...And here's your second source of entertainment; he's interchanging with Selene, and occasionally double teaming on the turn tables with her. They are used to this.

Whenever he isn't on, he's checking up on Aidan, or staying close to the DJ's booth. From the looks of it, he's having fun.

From the looks of it. Every now and then, he may be spotted trying to look out for Josh in the crowd. Maybe.]

This might be why he's usually NOT inside Haven, but outside, having a cigarette.

[This one is a rare sight in Haven because Liandrin Delacroix supposedly doesn't know the meaning of "party". What makes this even better is the fact that she isn't in her usual Goth Girl Garb, but actually in a club-worthy, hot-as-hell dress. Anything for her number one student at the moment, right?

Anyway, Lia is generally sticking to herself at one table. She's watching the proceedings with a small smile, which means that she doesn't look annoyed, for once.]

That means that she's alternating between trying to get people drunk, and shamelessly chewing any potential source of danger to the fun out.

[ She gently slides over a bottle in his direction. ]

[ While she's normally walking up to people tonight because damn, those 6-inch heels, gurl, she runs up to Hikaru, bottle in hand. ]

DADDY!! [ She's noticed him give a couple of people some drinks already. ]

I guess I don't need to give you this bottle, then?

[ She's taken the effort to bring over a drink for Selene. Can't thank Selene enough for doing this for her. Plus, she loves what Selene's been doing so far. ]

[ Shyly, because she isn't that close to Rethe but warm enough to make him feel that she does want him there. Not for sneaky reasons though, but because she does want to get to know Rethe better.

[ She smiles at Rethe and does the same thing she did for Selene, which is to offer him a drink when he's not spinning. ]

[ Briefly stepping out to catch some air, and because she spotted Tala and Selene inside, but no Alistair.

For good measure though, she grabbed a bottle of beer for Alistair before stepping out. ]

[ She spotted Lia slip in one of the tables earlier, and she's bulldozed through the crowd to get to the bar, requesting for a bottle of Tequila Rose.

Then, she makes her way to where Lia is seated. WOW her mentor looks GOOD. ]

I'm sorry ma'am Lia, but you look... WOW. Thanks again for coming! I know this isn't really your scene though.
