Not even French Fries? [ He's trying to put on a sad, puppydog face. He doesn't think he's doing it right. ] Everyone loves French Fries. [ Still trying to do a puppydog face. ]

Well, Kitty's still getting ready. 11am all right?

[ He's actually headed to fix up as well. Doesn't want to look like a dusty grunt at the Lopez residence. ]

[ Already informing Roy and her other siblings that they'll have a new playmate stopping by.

Roy is remarkably excited, and he's already organizing his toys. ]

You know Brig, I think puppy dog eyes are my thing. [ She says that with a laugh. ]

Yeah, I ate a small breakfast earlier. Anyway... You wanted to see me?

[ Straight to the point, because she's curious. ]

Sorry, I just thought I'd try. [ Brig laughs with her too. ] Apparently, it's not for me.

Lead the way. [ He smiles and stands by the foot of the ladder, waiting for her to go first. She probably won't, but Brig wants to be there to catch her if for some reason or another she slips and falls ]

Ugh, this is still at a point in time where Brig did not use smileys with Brianna. haha

On our way. Be there in a bit. Kitty's all excited and jumping around in the backseat of the cab.

[ Brig pays the cab driver and steps out of the cab with Kitty. He leads her by the hand to the gate and holds it as he presses on the doorbell.

[Bring her tablet out now, and sliding it in Brianna's direction. It contains a full itinerary with dates. Interestingly enough, it's a bodyguard mission, and the people she will be looking after are her own family members.]

I am not sure if your parents have already mentioned this to you, but they are going on a business trip soon, for our conspiracy. As such, we need to provide them with security.

Well, no harm in trying!

[ By now she's learned how to climb up the ladder expertly. No slip-ups for this one! She reaches the top and waits for Brig to climb in. ]

[ Brianna opens the door half-wide. There is a shy Roy beside her, peering up at Brig (a familiar face) and... A new playmate? Brianna's two other siblings rush in from behind her and wave at the both of them eagerly.

She smiles at them both and nudges for Roy to do the same. ]

Hi Brig! Hi Kitty!

[ Oh Brianna loves business trips. It's like a mini-vacation, at least the ones she went on before. This time though, she would technically be working. Nevertheless, she reads through it. ]

Oh wow, they did mention being off abroad to do business, but I didn't think I'd be with them.

[ She averts her attention from the tablet to Lia. ]

I can... Handle this by my own, right?

[ Brig follows suit and climbs up in after her. He plops himself down on one of the beanbags (slowly, lest he make it rip at the seams), and starts on the fries ] If I'd known a treehouse could be this cozy, I would've asked for extra seeds for myself. [ He gets this long look on his face. Kasumi ] But I guess Sakura don't really match me I guess.

go type what you want Kitty to do. She be NPC. haha

[ Brig smiles and looks at Kitty ] Kitty, you remember Brianna, right? [ Kitty smiles at Brianna and tiptoes to give Brianna a kiss on the cheek, but shies away back to Brig, hiding behind his leg and glancing away, not sure how to respond to the other kids ]

Those are her siblings, K. No need to be shy. [ He nudges her softly on the back and looks at Brianna with a "yeah, sorry, she did this to you guys as well before, remember?" look ]

[She's certain of that. As things stood, most of it was for formality than anything else.]

If you like, though, I can make sure that you have some back-up from a novice blade.

[ Hmm... PRIDE. IT SPEAKS. ]

Actually yeah, I think I can do this by myself.

[ Pointing to the tablet. ]

[ She softly pinches Kitty's cheeks before Kitty hides behind Brig.

She steps away and introduces Kitty to her siblings and to Roy. ]

You know, Roy, my brother and my sister have toys you can play with, Kitty!

[ Smiling as she's plopping down lazily on one of the bean bags. ]

Yeah, I figure a manlier tree would suit you more. Who gave you the seeds anyway?

[ He's here to discuss that matter anyway, right? She doesn't know why Brig won't just tell her through text. It's just a name, after all. But she'll indulge him. There might be something else to this after all. ]

Yes. The Arcanum will send one over by the end of the day, at the latest. Do you have any other questions?

[ Kitty feels comfy around Brianna and smiles when she says this. She looks at Brig if it's okay that she goes play with them. ] I brought you here to meet them, dear. [ He smiles at her ] Go knock yourself out. [ She hugs Brianna and then goes up to the Lopez kids to introduce herself shyly ]

[ Then Brig to Brianna ] Thanks for having us over, Bri.

Maybe I should look into getting a Narra or Balete, although I might have a [ what's it called? ] Kapre [ said in tentative Filipino ] for a smoking buddy. [ He chuckles at that ]

Well, Hikaru's mom did. [ Brig's tone is mixed sad and happy as he says it. ] Kasumi gave the seeds for your tree.

[ She's watching Brig closely, cos she managed to pick up on that sad tone.

Still, playing it cool. He kinda just got here, yknow. Don't wanna just spring that on him like that. ]

Awesome! Well, guess I should thank her then. Any idea how I can do that?

Nothing much really. Everything just seems so quiet with Kaz on his walk, and Taning and Yulia in Kibo. [ He's having Blademate withdrawal symptoms ] So I thought I'd just drop by and check up on how you're doing.
