A Late Birthday Party / MAY 26, 2063 Night

[ After a short "vacation" at Tokyo, Brianna sends a text to her friends. It's a general invitation that stretches from her blade mates to her mentors, to well, the whole of Netsach (as long as she knows them. Also extends to some Zangyaku friends). Of course, she asks her parents for permission first. ]

Hello friend! It would make me very happy if you could make it to Haven this Saturday to celebrate my 520th birthday. Drinks on me. :)

[And waiting until both glasses are ready before floating one in Brianna's direction, and lifting hers in a toast.

[ She thanks Lia graciously, raises up her own glass to toast and taking a sip. ]

Yes well, they should! [ She's joking, of course.

But more seriously now: ] I really love them all too. It's nice to celebrate with them once in a while.

There's always an excuse for partying.

[ She laughs at looks at Lia. ]

I didn't know you would support a reasoning like that!

[ She's drinking her drink quite faster than how she usually would with Lia. ]

[Lifting an eyebrow at that, with an amused twist of her lips.]

Play very hard, apparently.

[ She laughs out loud but still graciously enough, just so her mentor won't get any bad impressions. ]

Sorry, I don't usually guzzle alcohol down, but... It's my party and I'll cry if I want to, right?

Fair enough. Do try to be at least a little careful, though. You wouldn't want to miss out on all the fun.

[ She grins at Lia, and at the same time she's touched at how concerned she is for Brianna's Funtime™. ]

I will! Besides, I got this to document the night. [ She holds out her phone. ]

Can do it even when I'm buzzed!

[ Or completely out of it and detached from reality, as was the case in Mexico. ]

[She's totally going to check the stuff on that phone out, whether you know it or not, later.]

[ And she's totally taking Lia's words into consideration. ]

I swear I won't embarrass myself both as Brianna and as your favorite student.

[ Okay she might be a little buzzed already. ]

That's good enough for me. Now why don't you go and have fun with everybody else? Don't let me hold you back.

[ She nods and is about to stand when -- Crap. She shifts in her seat as if she was just fixing her dress. ]

Uhm, I'll just chill out here first, if you don't mind. [ Have a Brianna with the biggest grin on her face because really, REALLY?! This had to happen in front of Lia? Ah, well. ]

[ And so she stays in her seat, occasionally pointing out some funny, awkward or stupid shenanigans going around in Haven. She's glad that at least she can be snide in Lia's company. Sometimes. ]
