[ After a short "vacation" at Tokyo, Brianna sends a text to her friends. It's a general invitation that stretches from her blade mates to her mentors, to well, the whole of Netsach (as long as she knows them. Also extends to some Zangyaku friends). Of course, she asks her parents for permission first. ]

Hello friend! It would make me very happy if you could make it to Haven this Saturday to celebrate my 520th birthday. Drinks on me. :)

( Hi, Father Aidan. I wanted to see you earlier but you and Mister Falner were busy catching up. )

She likes Riley. She was just sad he was asleep a long time so she never got to really talk to him much. ]

Well, I'm glad that you came around to talk to me now.

[He's always been fond of you, and ironically? He started paying special attention after he had to save a little boy from being perhaps literally chewed out by you.]

( Lots. I got to talk to Mama Dee. And Hikaru's new daughter is pretty and nice. )

She'll let herself be a child around you. She has a lot to be grateful for, after all, where you are concerned.

( Oh, and Alan says hi, Father. He might be taking a quick port to Canada to see his folks, but he knew I'd probably run into you... somewhere. )

[ And as cute as she knows she is, as a fox, she will change back into human form because it is only polite to do so and she was raised really well.

Leaning back on the bar now beside you, Father Aidan, sir. ]

I'll let him know. And the rest are doing great. We'll kick around for the rest of the week and then head out again. Tatjana said she might come over one night and properly pay her respects to Mr. Falner.

That sounds like an excellent idea. Riley has been a bit anxious to see more of his own.

Aidan knows the feeling, but on a much wider scale. It's one of the reasons why he's always out on that lawn: he likes to be available.]

[ And she's going to slide a look towards where said Mr. Falner is speaking with the Kaiser now. ]

It's good to see him up.

[ She's never met him personally. But she heard the stories enough from her parents and her surrogate aunts and uncles to know enough.

There's a shy note in her voice now and she's turning those deceptively innocent eyes your way. No deception tonight though: Riley Falner is something of a legend; also, one of your good friends, Father. ]

[ Yes. She sounds like she's asking for permission. ]
