Oh hey Alistair! And uhm, Okaay.. [ She puts her gun down and shyly steps away.

Eep, judgment time. ]

[mordechai]

[Giving the target a critical once over.]

You've got the principle of it done. Best if you focus on trying to get shots consecutively in the same area from here on, though.

[Stepping back now, with an eyebrow lifted in her direction. He's also having the targets replaced, and making the new one move back to the proper distance.]

Let me see how fast you can reload and take six shots in a go.

[ She nods, doesn't mind it if Alistair's giving her tips. He clearly knows what he's doing, plus he's Daddystair! If it came from someone else of her level though... ]

Okay, I'll give it a go. [ She takes the gun back in her hand, disengages the magazine, pushes in another one, all depending on muscle memory. She aims for about a second before firing six consecutive times.

Thankfully, she doesn't tense up as she did previously, so she thinks this round should be better than the previous one. ]

[mordechai]

[Watching.]

Too slow, but you can work on that. [Lifting an eyebrow at the shots. Not bad.] Please tell me that you know how to take your gun apart and put it all back together.

[therealbrianna]

[ Smiling at him sheepishly now. ]

Uhm... Hehe.

[mordechai]

[...

He should've figured, really. Holding his hand out now.]

Here: I'll show you.

[therealbrianna]

[ She hands him her gun and eagerly watches what Alistair is about to do. ]

[mordechai]

[And he proceeds to dissemble the gun right in front of her, explaining, in a quiet voice, what each part is, what it does, and where it goes.

He could do this much faster, but the point is to show her how to get things done. Which is why he's also taking his time with putting everything back together.]

Now, you try it.

[ She's taking mental notes as Alistair sheds out instructions.

She nods and takes the gun herself, slowly trying to imitate what Alistair did.

Once she's done, she sets it down so Alistair can peer at it. ]

[mordechai]

[A curt nod.]

Good enough for a first time. I want you to practice doing that every day until you can do it in your sleep.

[therealbrianna]

[ Bright idea flashes in her mind as Alistair says that. ]

Will do! And uhm... If you're not too busy...

[ She's twiddling her thumbs and giving him a pleading look, as if to say "You've got to help me, I am so lost sometimes. ]

...maybe you can train me more?

[mordechai]

[Suddenly this feels like deja vu, only with a lot less pride and a hell lot more straightforward.]

Sure. We can do this every weekend. I'll give you things to practice when I'm not around.

[therealbrianna]

[ This girl don't beat around the bush, yo. Unless she has to. ]

Yay! That would be great! I can't wait to tell -- [ Almost slipped, but Alistair probably knows where this one got the idea from. ] -- the others!

[mordechai]

[Lifting an eyebrow at that, wondering if he should ask.

...No, he probably shouldn't.]

It's not that big of a deal.

[Sure, Alistair Mordechai. Whatever.]

[ Throws a sweet grin at Alistair before packing up her things and skipping off. ]
